Pale gold in colour with a pungent nose; on the palate it is dry, mineral, elegant and full-bodied.

“Campanillero” is the name under which Williams & Humbert releases this vintage. As is customary, the winery names the latest sacas of its vintages after something linked to flamenco. Ever since the first Williams vintage, dating from 1920, there has been a nod to flamenco through the famous pink bird symbol printed on the label. Williams & Humbert has wanted to continue this tradition and go one step further, adding a name to the symbol as a tribute to one of the most important art forms of our land.

The name of this flamenco style comes from the Andalusian campanillero, later popularised in Christmas carols. In the 18th century campanilleros roamed the districts of Andalusia celebrating the so-called Rosary of the Dawn, singing to simple instruments such as the triangle, the early guitar, sleigh bells, zambombas and the bell collars used to adorn horses. This gave its name to the members of these groups of singers and, later, to the flamenco style.

November 2020 saca from a selection of 4 casks that show the character and strength of a singular vintage, bordering on oxidative ageing.

Fino en Rama 2014 comes from a selection of 4 casks that show the character and strength of this singular vintage, notable for natural total acidity higher than the historical averages of our warm-climate region.
