Bodegas Williams & Humbert has begun working with Pequeño Orfeo, an association founded in 2021 with the main aim of making music a universal right and bringing it to children who find it hard to access. An ambitious project that has come to life through the creation of a children’s orchestra and choir in the southern district of Jerez, at the CEIP Federico García Lorca school in San Telmo. Pequeño Orfeo offers quality music teaching, with an inclusive and eminently practical approach, to a group of around 30 pupils aged 6 to 13, with the idea of widening the age range as pupils grow older and want to stay in the group. In addition to this music education, Pequeño Orfeo helps young musicians who have just finished their studies find work.
Williams & Humbert has joined this initiative, which is also supported by the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation, to help consolidate and grow a project that does so much good for these Jerez children.
