Gold Medal and Trophy for Dos Cortados at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2020

These are the accolades awarded to the 20-year-old palo cortado “Dos Cortados” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2020, one of the most significant events in the wine and spirits sector. This important recognition adds to the many others obtained by this VOS from Bodegas Williams & Humbert over the years. To name but a few, in 2015 alone, Dos Cortados garnered major awards in the most prestigious competitions: 95 points from Wine Spectator, the Top Wine award from the Vivino “Wine Style Awards,” the Gold Medal and Sherry Trophy at the International Wine Challenge, Gold Medals at the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the Decanter World Wine Awards, and the “Best Fortified Dry Old Style” award at the “Wines from Spain Awards.” Furthermore, in 2014, this palo cortado was awarded the Gold Medal, the Sherry Trophy, and the Palo Cortado Trophy at the International Wine Challenge. All these prizes establish Dos Cortados as one of the most outstanding sherries in the Sherry region.
