Williams & Humbert launches Pando Vermouth

Bottle of Pando Vermouth among flowers and botanicals

This new vermouth is based on the popular Fino Pando, aromatised with an elegant blend of flowers, roots, woods and barks.

A new vermouth joins the Bodegas Williams & Humbert range: Pando Vermouth, an aromatised drink made with the popular Fino Pando as its base. This fino has been part of the Williams & Humbert soleras for more than 140 years. With an average age of five years, Fino Pando is made from Palomino grapes from Pago Balbaína and aged through the criaderas y soleras system in American oak casks.

Pando Vermouth is made using this emblematic fino as its base, with an elegant blend of aromas from flowers, fruits, roots, woods and barks. Golden yellow in colour, this white vermouth has a delicate nose that combines the notes of the fino’s biological ageing with those from the maceration of fruits and plants. The result is an elegant, balanced vermouth, pleasant on the palate, fresh and sweet, with the bitter touch provided by plants such as wormwood and dittany.

Pando Vermouth is 15% ABV and comes in a 100 cl bottle.

This new white vermouth joins Canasta red vermouth, launched in 2008 and made with the winery’s famous sweet Oloroso. With the launch of Canasta Vermouth, Williams & Humbert was a pioneer, making the first vermouth of its kind using an Oloroso sherry as its base.
