A singular rum with a history
Dos Maderas 1935 is an exceptional rum that brings together the heritage of the Caribbean and the winemaking tradition of Jerez in a production process of extraordinary singularity.

Sourced from Guyana and Barbados, it is aged for ten years in the Caribbean, where the tropical climate intensifies the interaction with the wood and encourages the development of sweet, fruity notes. Its journey continues in Jerez, at the Williams & Humbert bodegas, where it rests for five years in a 1935 Oloroso cask belonging to the winery’s historic collection of Vintage Wines. The process culminates in more than a year and a half of maturation in 16-litre glass demijohns.

Its time in the 1935 Oloroso cask gives this rum depth, elegance, character and a singular complexity. The final maturation in glass demijohns allows its aromas and flavours to integrate before it is bottled in a limited, numbered edition of just 400 bottles, created for those who appreciate the authenticity, time and care that set great spirits apart.
Presented in a bottle and case designed to reflect the exceptional nature of what they hold, Dos Maderas 1935 completes a proposition in which history, elegance and prestige come together to create a true collector’s piece.
Juanjo Mesa, oenologist and master blender at Williams & Humbert, describes the tasting notes of this extraordinary rum as follows: “Deep mahogany in colour with golden highlights, Dos Maderas 1935 unfolds a deep, enveloping nose with aromas of noble wood, raisins, nuts, sweet spices, toasted almonds, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate it is velvety, unctuous and balanced, with intense notes of wood, nuts and spicy nuances. The finish is long, elegant and persistent, leaving a warm, complex sensation that invites you to savour it slowly.”

Dos Maderas 1935 is best enjoyed neat, served in a wide glass that lets you appreciate its full aromatic richness, although it can also be enjoyed over ice. Its profile makes it an excellent after-dinner companion, with particularly interesting pairings with dark chocolate, nuts, fine pastries and cured cheeses.
